CATWEAZLE WEEKEND 2010
This years fete will take place on Saturday June 26th and Sunday June 27th. At Home Farm East Clandon and Brickendon Herts.
On the Saturday, we will, as usual be at Hexwood Farm. Where members will have the chance to join in the fun and take part in a Scavenger Hunt and Quiz that takes you around some of the filming locations and back to the farm. There will be prizes for winners and special Catweazle medals for all participants.
In the evening, there will be a bar-b-que in the gardens of The Queens Head pub in East Clandon (just down the road from the farm) We hope of course that Robin will be well enough to join us both in the afternoon and evening. The ticket includes a bar-be-que meal and a drink. Hopefully a little entertainment will be going on as well!
On the Sunday we are going to Brickendon (Kings Farthing, home of The Collingfords) where we will be visiting the locations of the second series. Most of the filming took place on the estate and you will have a chance to see it all. There will also be a finger buffet provided for us inside the building.
Geoffrey will be attending one day, but he is not sure which yet.
Booking is ESSENTIAL for both days so please get your ticket order in as soon as possible. We must know how many people are attending each day, how many will be taking part in the Location Scavenger Hunt and how many people have transport and how many people don't for it and the Sunday.
The costs are £15 per person per day OR if you book for both days before the end of February we will give you a £5 discount, making the weekend just £25.
Transport and Hotel fees are NOT included in this.
So when you are booking, please let us know which days you are attending and if you have your own transport. It is essential for us to know well in advance.
